Affiliate Disclosure
Some of the links on the Gifts page earn PetPomo a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and here is the whole of how it works.

The short version
The Gifts page — "letters from Mochi" — shows offers, coupons and sponsorships from real merchants. Some of those outbound links are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, PetPomo may earn a small commission from that merchant.
- It costs you nothing extra. You pay the same price you would by going to the merchant directly.
- The links are labelled. Sponsored and affiliate links are marked as such, right where they appear, and they carry
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". - You are never obliged to use them. The whole game is free and works with or without ever visiting the Gifts page.
Why the disclosure is here and next to the links
The US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement rules (16 CFR Part 255) require a material connection like a commission to be disclosed clearly and near the recommendation, not buried on a page no one reads. So the disclosure sits in two places: at the top of the Gifts page itself, above the letters, and here in full. Each letter also states its kind, and any sponsored letter is stamped as sponsored.
How we decide what to feature
Earning a commission never buys a place on the Gifts page. The rule we hold ourselves to is simple: we only feature something we would genuinely point a friend to. A commission does not change whether an offer is worth showing, and an offer we would not recommend is not shown because it pays well. These are the house rules recorded in the project's AFFILIATES.md, which also keeps an append-only ledger of every commercial link the site has ever shown, so the trail is auditable.
What this does and does not collect
We do not run any tracking or link-injecting script for this. The links are plain redirects to the merchant. When you click one, the merchant's own site may set its own cookies and see the referral, the same as following any link to a shop — that happens on their site, under their policy. PetPomo is not told what you go on to buy; the merchant reports back only anonymous, aggregated commissions.
Which offers are shown at all is decided only from the approximate country your host (Cloudflare) attaches to the request, so a US-only deal is not dangled at someone it cannot ship to. That country is used in the moment and not stored. More on all of this is in the privacy policy and the cookie notice.
The deal itself is with the merchant
An affiliate link is an introduction, not a sale by us. Any order, payment, delivery, warranty or refund is strictly between you and the merchant, under their terms — see the terms of service. Prices and offers are the merchant's and can change or end without notice.
Changes and questions
If this ever changes — a new network, a new kind of offer — this page is updated first, and the date above will say when. Questions go to the contact page.
